O2 coverage
I've just tried to check the coverage via the O2 website but it keeps coming up with an error message so I thought I'd ask here instead
Basically a friend of mine is looking to change her network (she's currently on Orange) and is thinking to go to O2 but doesn't know what the coverage is like where she lives (near Newport, South Wales).... I don't know either because I live on the opposite side of the country lol and as I said before the coverage checker I found doesn't seem to work, so can anyone help. If you know what the coverage is like down that way or know of another website I can use to check up I'd be grateful ![]() Thanks

Very basic, and won't give you signal strength (on most phones) but ask her to do a manual Network Search on her handset and see if "O2-UK" comes up?

Why does she want to go on O2? She can get free texts and flat rate calls of 15p a minute on Orange PAYG.

02 is a good nextwork but its not the cheapest. Where I am I get a 98% covarage. Thats 3 or 4 bars out of 5 for signal.

Thanks. I will pass this information onto her. She's been having a lot of problems with Orange (she has a mobile/broadband package from them) and I think basically got fed up with having to constantly contact them over different problems she was having and is looking for a new network provider.
Thanks for the information.
