Well, nothing to write home about this years Strictly. I'm a bit dissapointed really. The way I'm looking at it at the moment, I probably not going to watch it every week. :yawn:

I don't know, I just wouldn't have put them together myself. I really hope they do well though as I love Darren. Hopefully after the first show I'll see 'it'. It's a bit unfair for me to judge before they've even danced! I'll probably still support them anyway, they could be a lot of fun, but I don't think they'll win.

Ah yeah, I get you. I thought that about Brendan and Claire last year, and I still didn't see it after the first show or in the studio, I was there the night of the big row lol.

I am just hoping all this hype surrounding Kelly and Brendan doesn't fall flat in the BBC's face though.

Yes I too hope she has more personality on the dance floor than in presenting! Otherwise it'll be another early exit for Mr Cole

Kelly's been to stage school, as will most of the actors and actresses anyway, so yeh :s

Yeah and after the arguments I had on here last year that seems to be a big no no for a lot of people

But Kelly isn't the only one on the list - most of the women would have had dance lessons and Gabby is a gymnaste (sp?) so she would me flexible and have rhythm

Not mad about Alesha for Matt, but given that its Matt I'll be supporting him anyway and I'll see what I think of her when the show starts. Hope Brendan is out as quickly as possible, can't stand his partner. In a bit of a dilemma as regards Ian. He's my second favourite dancer but I really don't like Penny.

As far as the guys, don't have much of an opinion on Kenny Logan but dislike Ola so they'll be my first choice to go out. Hope John Barnes is ok, Nicole deserves someone good. Don't know Gethin Jones, Matt di Angelo or Dominic Littlewood at all, anyway care to tell me a bit about them.

Don't know much about Gethin or Matt but my Mum's always watching Dom's programmes on the telly. He does mainly daytime programmes, a couple of property ones I think. He also does this one called "Don't Get, Done Get Dom" where he gives people tips on how to get freebies, discounts in shops and good customer service .

He's from Essex and according to wikipedia he's 42 but I actually thought he was a bit younger. I think he'll have a lot of fun and have a good go, but he might be lacking on the technical aspects!! Who knows...
