Yes, I would agree with this. If I was coerced into picking a winner, on pain of death, then I would definitely expect the winner to emerge from one of these 5 couple, who given their youth should have the stamina and hopefully dancing ability to last the course.

I've previously posted that I don't think anyone over 40 has a chance and so celebs such as Brian, Willie and Stephanie will not reach the final. Can't see Gabby and her husband winning - I imagine they will not be particuarly popular. As for John Barnes - should do O.K. Simiarly Kate Garroway but each time I see her, I can't help but think of Galen from that old seventies series 'The Planet of The Apes'. I wonder if Anton will be sporting his red catsuit again if they have to dance the jive!!

From the above list of 5, I would like to see Alesha reach the final. As a bloke, I think she's a stunner and hopefully she can dance. Kelly is a curvacious woman and will probably have some male viewers drooling. It will be fun seeing how she manages to keep her ample sized lady dumplings under control in the more energetic dances - those things could probably poke Bendan's eyes out at 20 paces

I wouldn't want this partnership to win though, simply because I'm not a fan of Brendan.

And if it is a three couple final then I would go with Matt and Flavia, and Ian and Penny.

Gethin could do well but I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Camila. Last year she looked emaciated.

I've just read in The Express that Kelly trained in dance at Italia Contri and already knows how to ballroom dance. Apparently Billy Zane let all of this information slip and it was he who persuaded her to do the show - along with his good friend Craig Revel Horwood, who taught Billy to ballroom dance for one of his films.

I'm guessing Kelly has a good chance of doing well then!

Well if last years pasting of Emma Bunton on this forum is anything to go by, I expect Kelly to be this years DS whipping girl.Hopefully she`ll be judged by the forum on her dancing ability and not her "connections".

i can imagine loads of tabloid stories about brendan and kelly. I hope they fallout - always makes the show that little bit more interesting.

Craig taught Billy and Claire Bloom to dance - and choreographed them in a short lived West End show earlier this year.

Kelly probaly already "knows how he feels about her" (To paraphrase CRH to Emma after the awful (but high scoring) jive last season.......

I like the sound of Leticia and Darren and I should think that they could do rather well.
I feel sorry for Vincent who after year danced so well with Louisa Lytton. Whoever thought of partnering Stephanie Beacham with him must be thinking of the partenership a bit of a challenge.

I think Gethin Jones will be either really brilliant or really awful lol. He's very athletic but I'm not sure how well he can dance

I don't think Vincent's got too bad a deal. I can somehow see Stephanie being quite good at it a la Leslie Garret. He just obviously needs to choreograph routines to suit the slightly older lady

anyhoow I reckon Jame and Gabby are a good bet, Cammila and Gethin as well (he must be taller than he looks!) and I wouldn;t write poff JOhn Barnes and Nicle Cutler he was pretty light on his feet on a footie field. I think even Lillia will be defeated by Dominic Littlewood - neither Matt or Darren could dance to start with but what they had on their side was fitness and ability to train loooong hours. Somehow dominic looks like a "lets go down the pub" man. Be funny seeing her bossing him about though

Much as I love Gethin, he has commented before on blue peter that he has two left feet when it comes to dancing...

I expect Kelly to be great, firstly she has dance training and secondly models are taught how to hold themselves and make themselves look good - although she might be the Emma of this series. As a model, Penny should also be decent. Matt is another one with dance training.. and Alesha has been hired to dance in music videos before - so they should both be good.

Gethin will get votes for being good looking and determined. Gabby and Kenny might turn out to be insufferable.

I've mentioned in another thread I think Gabby might be the dark horse of the show.

As we know those who do well are the sportspeople or those who have had some training in dance. Gabby is a former rhythmic gymnast and as such fills both catagories having both experience in dance like Jill Halfpenny, Emma Bunton etc.. but also the stamina when having to perform and train on a competitive level like Denise Lewis and Mark Ramparkash.

I think I might put a bet on her.

I think Alesha might win it - as a James fan I am disppointed he has got Gaby - I am just not keen on her and I don't think she will be popular - could be wrong - usually am

I agree, I'm looking forward to this partnership. I think the performance side will be great and she moves elegantly, that could translate to her dancing.



Most couples look quite appealing for various reasons. The Jordan-Logan (the JoLo's, if you like) partnerships are least appealing of the lot, for me. I reckon Kenny will have less natural ability than Spoony had and Ola's choreography wasn't great last year. Plus this year there is a big size difference between the two. Unsure about what James can do because he had Georgina last year. Sounds like Gabby is working hard but can she 'perform'....?
