Please recommend a 32 inch LCD to go with Sky HD (used for upscaling SD sub)
I am looking to buy a 32 inch LCD for my bedroom, where my second Sky+ box has just died. After reading some helpful posts on here, I see that a Sky HD box can upscale to 1080i and therefore make SD pictures look good on most LCDs. I plan to buy a Sky HD box from Ebay tomorrow (for around £190 including delivery) to replace my broken Sky+ box, but probably won't get a HD sub.
Given this setup and a budget of about £600, can someone recommend me a good LCD to buy please? ![]() I saw a Panasonic TX32LXD70 (which is a Best Buy in Which?) in Richer Sounds yesterday and it looked much darker than other displays (no matter how much I fiddled with the setup). The guy in the shop was really pushing the Sharp LC32WD1E. I've not found any reviews of this one, so would be interested in hearing user's experiences. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. |

I bought the Panasonic last month.
Set up controls very responsive. The only niggle i have with it is the approximate 30 second wait till the remote responds. I e-mailed Panasonic and they say its the unit scanning the digital channels for errors before it will respond to the remote so i've learned to live with it. Overall = 9 out of 10 |
