T-Mobile cancel changes to data charges.

Had a text from T-Mobile yesterday. The planned changes to web n walk, at the end of the month, are no longer happening.
It had been announced that pay as you go customers would be charged a flat rate of £1 ,each day they used data, regardless of how little they used.

You've got it all wrong.

The planned changes would mean that your daily usage would cost no more than £1. If you use 30p worth of data in a day, then thats what it would cost, but when you reach £1 you will not be charged further than that,so if you usually spend £2.50, then it would have cost £1.

It wasn't planned to be £1 flat as soon as you access the service.

So theres nothing to celebrate!

I think you will find it was a change to a flat rate. I refer you to all the people on here who complained when it was announced. I also refer you to the text message which T-Mobile sent:

"The planned change to how you pay for web 'n' walk will no longer take place on 26 Sept so you'll still pay for the amount you use and never more than £1 a day"

This clearly states that we will continue to pay for the amount we use up to a maximum of £1

I still don't understand why according to you I've "got it all wrong".

T-Mobile had announced they were changing the way web n walk was charged for pay as you go customers. Now they are not going to. I don't see how you being on a discontinued tariff affects that.
