Who will make the first exits in this series of SCD.

I reckon Kenny will go first and Gabby will be the first woman out

Willie and Erin will be out first I think closely followed by either Matt or Stephanie.

Matt will get the girly EastEnder vote-remember Christopher Parker in series one, it could be a re-run.
Think Steph will be quite good, especially her ballroom, and remember she is quite witty and will be likeable

Not many people like Matt in EE. It depends on what their dancing is like...i dont think we can judge yet because we dont know. But looking at some of the people i think Willie will be the first from the men

I have a feeling Gabby may be the Zoe Ball of Series 5 , she wants this very badly .

SCD attracts a totally different audience, theres not many teenage girl voters, I think the female vote will go to Kenny or Gethin, Matt's not that popular in EE.

Wonder how many snooker players will be seen supporting Willie on the first show

Well I really wouldn't like to make predictions at this stage as we haven't actually seem any of them dance yet. For all we know bookies favourite Tish might have 2 left feet

But given that its as much a popularity contest as a dance contest... the better known celebs like Letitia and John already have fan clubs among SCD's main viewing group... and the teeny boppers will go for Gethin and Aleesha, the lads will go for Penny, Kelly and Gabby...

That could be her downfall, she wants it too badly. Don't know if she has enough popularity. I have my doubts. She does come over as irritating

Matt does have quite a few fans though.
But im not going to judge untill i have seen them dance...although i will be backing Matt DA

I can't stand Deano in EE, so my opinion of him is clouded already, for some reason I can see him being really bad just like Spencer.

But what his character is like compared to matt are two completely different people.
Matt has had dancing experience from when he was in idream so i dont see him being as bad as Christopher Parker. But you never know..

Maybe that was a bit unfair to judge him 4 weeks before the series starts but I don't think he's got it in him.

How can you make judgements when they havent even danced, its daft really. why not save it til the first week? your just going on age and what you may think.

I don't think it is daft. Whilst how the celeb performs on the night is certainly a factor, it is obvious that popularity of both celeb and professional are equally as important. Perhaps more so in the earlier weeks when total votes cast are relatively small. Taking last year for example, I think over 2 millions votes were cast in week 11 (semi-finals) and over 1 million in the quarter-final (week 10). Extrapolating this data, I doubt there wass more than 150,000 votes cast in the first week which is not alot of votes given viewing figures of over 9 million in the first week last year (and bearing in mind there might be some multiple voters).

I would argue that the three most popular professionals, Karen, Brendan and Lilia would be voted through even if partnered dancing with an over-sized dead halibut. O.K. I'm exagerating but you know what I mean.

I reckon Brian, Dominic and Kelly will easily survive the first week irrespective of how the celebs perform primarily because of the existing large fanbase for their respective professional partners.

Unless Willie puts in a very good performance I expect him to leave in the first week. I don't believe either he or Erin have a large enough fanbase to offset a poor performance on the night.

Mentioned earlier about Gabby, she was up for it last year so this year she'll be really keen !

Well you know I couldn't stand Ruby in Eastenders and I really thought I wouldn't like Louisa but I was wrong. She won me around.

I think Kenny will be the first male to go. I think Erin will get a big vote which will save Willie and he has a good chance to do well if he gets ballroom, as Erin is a fantastic ballroom teacher. If he gets Latin first, he could be in a little more trouble.

I'm surprised people are doubting Matt - I think he'll do really well and Flavia seems lovely, which will help.

I think it's a tough call with the women and it will genuinely depend upon how well they dance. I think Stephanie needs a good performance and maybe also Penny - although I'm sure Penny will actually be very good and therefore safe.

Of course we have no idea and it's much too early to tell, but we've got ages until the series starts and so we might as well have a bit of a guess whilst we wait - even if we end up being completely wrong!

Erinfan, do you have any feedback from Erin how she feels about having another tall, well built non-experienced in Dance partner? He will be equally as charming as Peter Schmeichel and the realtionship as harmonious I'm sure.
