He's a pretty big star in the US and I guess you could almost say he's held in reverence by many as a showbiz legend figure, a bit like Bruce is considered by many over here, but with WN it's in a more OTT and glitzy way. I can see why they wanted him in the competition but I don't think he deserved to stay any longer than a week or two as all the others are better dancers. Poor Cheryl looked crestfallen when they stayed in last night, not that she necessarily wants to leave the competition but she probably felt bad for Albert, and of course there's a chance it will happen again and someone else will go instead.

I didn't want to believe Albert and Anna went until I saw it with my own eyes. Gutted. The judges marking was ridiculous. How they got the same scores as Floyd and Karina and Cam and Edyta I don't know! So I blame the judges for A&A going. I really thought Floyd was abysmal and Cameron was so stiff and I don't see either of them getting any better.
Disappointing that Derek seems to be dancing with a 14 year old girl, I thought Jennie's reactions at dancing up close to him and laughing and his manliness was pretty immature, shame about the fall though.
I see they've shortened the dances again, won't be long till they are doing 60 second dances again. I don't think this week was anywhere near as good as last week and the live audience's reaction to the dances was very muted too.
But I love Helio....how can you not?!

And if anyone's watching this on UKGold and hasn't noticed it yet, they edit out half of the training footage and some of the backstage reactions.

Still haven't found videos of this week's Pro dances.....

If the people watching the show on UK Gold can help us out, would be very pleased.

Next week's dances are Jive & Tango, and Billy Ray Cyrus is a musical guest....
2nd week results show

I feel really sorry for Cheryl this series, she really has got a badun hasn't she. He is not even close to a decent dance.

I must say having watched both Dancing with the Stars and SCD I much prefer the American version. The pro dancers and certain Celebrities seem to be far better dancers, and the show is far more entertaining IMO.

I reckon it's jive and tango, that's what it was this time last year and the first two weeks have been the same.

I have also heard a rumour that Sabrina is dancing the tango and Jane the jive. But then I heard that they switched because it would be slightly easier for Jane to learn tango after the hard week she's had! So I don't know.

I definitely think those are the dances, I just don't know who's doing them.

This is apparently what is being danced tonight:

Sabrina and Mark - Jive
Helio and Julianne - Jive
Mel and Maks - Jive
Floyd and Karina - Jive
Jennie and Derek - Tango
Wayne and Cheryl - Tango
Jane and Tony - Waltz
Mark and Kym - Jive
Cameron and Edyta - Waltz (or Tango, not sure)
Marie and Jonathan - Tango

I'm not entirely sure why there are three dances listed, that's a bit odd! The place I got it from said that some people swapped around to make it easier for Jane because of the amount of/intensity of the training she'd be able to do because of her mother.

EDIT: Oh, and before I forget - does anyone have the name/artist of the song Sabrina and Mark used for their quickstep last week? And the name of the album it's on?

Thanks.

Ah, Sabrina will love the jive, won't she.... Could it rival Jill Halfpenny's?

I think so too - and jive is apparently Mark's favourite dance so I'm definitely expecting it to be a good one!

With her being a dancer, I am expecting a FANTASTIC jive, no less than Jill Halfpenny's at the very least...

Okay, apparently the above info is wrong - Jane/Tony and Cameron/Edyta are both doing tango. All the others are the same.

I'll be discounting Mark and Sabrina's efforts, with her being a dance instructor and performer already.
Hopefully Helio will be ok to perform as he's twisted his ankle and got it all taped up. Otherwise, good luck to the rest of the contestants.

Ahhh

Finally the thread for this!

Poor Jane, when they read the statement out at the last elimination it was really really hard to not feel so upset for her

Id love to see her win now, but due to the tpical studs being there itll never happen

I for one shall be wishing Jane all the best and hope she stays a good while longer at least

Blimey, now Kym's gone and done herself a mischief. The injuries are piling up.
Mark Cuban has apparently taken her to see his football teams medics for specialist treatment. .
