I've finally manged to see them on youtube, so can safely come on this site. Nobody blew me away this week, but they were all pretty good, some very good. I think even Craig would have struggled to find anything less than a 5. I definitely have a soft spot for Floyd and simply adore Helio. Agree it wasn't his best, never mind. I can always go and watch his foxtrot for the millionth time!
After the damp squib that was last Saturday's SCD, I hope we can get up to the American standard. |

Does anyone know what all the professionals' (from this season and others) favourite dances are?
I know that Julianne's is samba and Mark's is jive, but I was wondering about the others. |

Following up last night's show, just catching up with this very kind person's videos on youtube: copagedesigns
Bigtoe, I do agree with you about Drew, wasn't sure of him at first - I don't know him and still haven't gotten around to looking up his old vids winning with Cheryl - but last night I thought he was excellent and complimented Tom very well, they make a very good team, more in tune than with Samantha who is a bit grating. Drew asked some excellent questions, relevant to the training footage, and hit the right note of relaxed comedy, but not afraid to say something a bit sarky too, it was entertaining. ![]() Loved Tom's comment after Maks took his top off yet again - quelle surprise! - "there's no need looking for his ego". LOL!I also totally agree about Tess & Bruce last weekend, both shows had cringeworthy moments and Bruce should stop looking like he wants to grope the women, it's embarrassing, and fern, yes, it was simply dull compared to the overall standard on DWTS this year. I was thinking the BBC should've had the Ladies compete on Sunday, but had no vote off seeing as Kate may not be able to compete - would've been a much better option IMO. Just watched Sabrina & Mark's Jive in full, and frankly, it was like a professional routine, nothing was left out. TBH I'm surprised they didn't get 10s with how the marks are usually given on this show. Mark definitely packed everything in there, and personally, I'm not liking Sabrina's cocky attitude at all, over here I bet a thread would be dedicated to her saying "Sabrina - too competitive?" It'll be interesting to see what the US Viewers make of her, as I thought her comments during training about Mark's choreo were uncalled for. We'll see. She's a dancer and he's giving her professional standard choreo to perform every week, but is she a real contestant for such a show? As some of the bloggers have said, put her on So You Thinik You Can Dance? [the US SDF] still running over there. That's the show where the people who can already dance go, not DWTS. Plus I didn't like her comments in the ET show clips last week about how she'd already had several TV offers for her own show, it's like..yeah, I guess that's why you entered, for the exposure of yourself as a personality. Shame. But no doubt the girl can move. |

This is why I took an instant dislike to Sabrina from the start. You're looking at a professional partnership and thats just wrong.
Apparently she's being heavily promoted on the Disney channel, so I'd say she's a dead cert for the final. ![]() I really wish Mark had been assigned a novice. I pray Wayne gets the boot tonight, it's just to painful to watch, Cheryl was giving her goodbye its been great speech last night, but you can't underestimate his fan base. |

Osmonds!
BTW watched the POG show today, Donny was in top form, he's doing Wembley on Friday, and coming back next May with ALL the Osmonds for a big Tour, including Marie. He said to check www.donny.com for the dates.

![]() Well, I dithered about that much last week, I ended up watching it ![]() I'll probably watch it as I want to see Seal singing 'kiss from a rose'. I'm guessing the pro dance will be a Rumba, hopefully not Edyta dancing it again. I'm hoping it will be Mark/julianne this time but I'm not holding my breath as they already danced to that awful Dolly Parton number. |

He's given it a lash, maybe the viewers will get poor Cheryl's hint and not vote them back. She's played a very dignified card, I thought, just accepting her lot this year, a pity some fans of the pros on SCD don't follow suit.I really thought it amusing that when Jenni & Derek were trailed going into the ad break, they feigned falling over together! That was cute! She seems to have lightened up anyway. Have to agree with your comments last night bigtoe, Jenni's posture was poor in the Tango, too soft and loose, but she acted the part well.Have to give credit to Maks, that was a very well choreographed and entertaining Jive, probably the purest and best of the night IMO. Mel danced very well, and as the bloggers have pointed out, she may've danced on stage with the Spice Girls 10 years ago, but she's just had a baby, so that evens things out. ![]() Those underarm linking windmill turns at the end were very intricate and performed well, one of Maks's best routines, I take it back Maks, you rock!

Me too, we'd have found out alot more about him then, as a teacher and choreographer for a newbie.

Glad she's not making fun of her partner any more. I don't understand why the folks in youtube were saying Helio was robbed because the judges only gave him 888. I mean he did a highly entertaining routine, no doubt, but the little tiny segment of kicks and flicks were executed rather clumsily and he lost a bit of balance too. I thought the judges were being fair to him for the first time. I know he has injury, I know... |

You know what, normally I wouldn't be interested in anyone like Maks, with his stud persona and supersized ego, too cliched. But since last season when he was dancing with Laila, I've changed my mind about him. What I like is, he doesn't do all the Hollywood BS. That's true of a lot of the Eastern Europeans/Russians , their mentality is more like ours than the Americans.
I really liked his partnership with Laila and it looks like it's shaping up the same way with Mel. |

I'm glad Jennie got the repeat dance.
She did well to come back from the fall last week I have to say. Love Derek, I think he's got the perfect mix of maturity, youthful exhuberance, nice but ambitious and hard working. Just seeing that again, Karina in her wig and heavy fake tan looked like Debbie Allen from Fame I'm still not sure about Maks, I just find him so cheesy. I think he's a very good technical teacher but it's very rare I like his choreography. I hope Cam and Edyta go this week |

Enjoyed that pro Waltz routine to Seal with Valentina & Partner, but why does every ballroom dress on DWTS have to be backless down to the bum? A more dignified and classy dress to match the beautiful dancing would've worked for me.

I expected them to recall M&M's Jive, didn't realise they could reprise any dance and not just the top scored.

I'd be happy to see him go but his fanbase is massive.
I think Helio is the least well known, I can't help worrying. Really I hope it's between Cam, Wayne and Floyd that goes. Liked the sibling rivalry bit with the Houghs |
