LOL! I saw a Sky Sports News report yesterday with Mayweather and Karina in the gym, they showed a brief clip of them rehearsing, and then interviewed him, and even off camera you could hear her screechy whiney voice talking in the background over his voice!!

I'm afraid her voice would drive me to distraction if I had to train with her.

Someone posted on the abc site that they had seen something on Entertainment Tonight that it was going to be announced tonight that someone was dropping out, but there is a bit of confusion as to whether it would be a dancer or whether Samantha may not be coming back as a presenter. There's also a bit of confusion as to whether the report is true of not.

Dropping out? Hmm... Injuries? Helio?

MSNBC seems to think Samantha is coming back.

I kind of liked Drew, never really warmed to Samantha. I liked her more than Lisa Canning, though.

(On the ABC boards, someone is saying that Gloria Estefan was meant to perform in the results show but her mother is ill so it might be that she will not be appearing.)

I think a few people though Helio, because of his injury or Floyd because of fighting commitments, and then it was discussed that Samantha may have chosen to stay at home with the baby, but all reports are unconfirmed and with all these rumours it's all probably speculation and nothing will happen ...lol

The programme details for UKTV said that last week they were going to have Avril Lavigne performing but it was Seal and Billy Ray instead.

I don't think I trust the UKTV info too much.

I guess it's just ABC's way of upping their ratings!

1. Kym & Mark - VW to Mr Bojangles, a long way from Vienna! - As if we'd get the real thing! puh! Ofcourse it was the Smooth version, lots of seperation, a soft shoe shuffle from him, and not a fleckerl in sight. Cute, light routine, 2x7, Len gave 8.

It was a boob fest backstage, Samantha's boobs, Kym's boobs, she got a bit muddled talking to the first couple already...maybe came back too soon....

2. Sabrina & Mark - Paso - 3x10!!!!!! Was it worth it? Well, yes, probably, or at least a 9 anyway. Mark really showed alot of flair with this dance and the choreo was nice and classical. The music however was vile - Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me" UGH! Lot's of sweeping dramatic moves, dynamic across the floor, she is still not my fave though. I'm not sensing alot of love for her from Mark somehow, and it's still all about her. She had boobs on view too, dressed classily in purple.

3. Jane & Tony - VW - now that was worth a 10 from me! Spoilt by the Judges bickering, it's getting beyond a joke! Gorgeous musical interpretation, lovely choreography to the Billy Joel song Mr Piano Man, beautiful prolongued attitude spin by Jane at the end, she has perfect lines and exudes serenity, I loved it. Really great VT at the beginning creating an impressionist painting with their feet by the sea, perfect! 2x9, 1x8 by the dimwit Carrie-Ann.

4. Floyd & Karina - Paso - I'm glad they stayed in now! That was pukka! His best dance by far, and guess what? It actually resembled a proper Paso! Very filmic, anthemic soundtrack music, no vocal, and great flourish in his Flamenco jump across the floor, they actually worked better as a couple tonight too. More judging controversy about lifts, was it, wasn't it? More boobs from Karina, it's boob week....and Mel hasn't even appeared yet. Len seems very tired and so does Bruno actually. 2x8 1x7 from CA. She's way off tonight.

5. Mel & Maks!! - VW - OMG! If Maks is leaving the show at the end of this series, he's going out on a high, gorgeous and innovative choreo, starting and ending with movement in silence after the music, lovely routine. Did not recognize the song, but very nice female vocal. Mel danced very well, quite elegant, but her arms are not as good as Jane's, she's a different build, a different shape, her shoulders are very rounded, but it didn't detract too much, I thought a 9. A real couple out there, and funny VT beforehand. She's so coarse though. 2x9 1x8 CA again! She told Mel she "sounded like a truckdriver!" and no boobs on view, quelle surprise!!

6. Cameron & Edyta - Paso - It's the Law that Edyta has to reveal alot of flesh and be half naked, what did you expect? They used the Superman soundtrack after last week's comments from Bruno. Um, it scored 3x9 and the Judge's raved, couldn't see it myself. IMO he dances by numbers and his eyes are either vacant or concentrating so hard he has no emotion. Typical Paso choreo, the obligatory leap from the man, danced well, but not spectacular or special. I hope they go.

7. Marie & Jonathan - VW - to Elvis's I Can't help Falling in Love With You, is he wearing a wig? She certainly was anyway, a hairpiece, which she used to full effect waving her head around royally in the opening. Infact it was all opening and closing, not alot of actual Waltzing in dance hold anywhere in the choreo, but nicely done anyway, entertaining, in a bit of fluff kind of way. I wonder if our couples should emulate this style for the VW? When you think of the flack Vincent & Louisa got last year for their VW which contained way more content than this dance, and it scored 2x9 and 1x8 by 2 of the very same Judges. Hmmm? Confused? You should be.

Just to add that it seems Len is contractually obliged to smile inanely and say at least 3 bloodys and 4 references to British food in every show...just to prove he's a pukka Brit who knows Ballroom. Tonight it was "fish & chips". I'm getting bored of all 3 of these Judges aswell....oh dear, why does this show always have to be about the Judges.....as if it wasn't enough on SCD.....

Why do they have to use such horrendous pop songs for paso's? It completely ruins it, I had to put them all on mute and play some actual paso music in the background, the timings obviously not right but it's about 100 times better.

Just watched, not good with the technicals, but it was good enough for me and he got 9's from everyone , outright second I think

I just wonder what the scores would be like if this was the UK version. I just think the judges totally overmark on the US show and that Carrie Anne is so inconsistent with her critique and marking. She seemed to have a bee in her bonnet about lifts at the beginning of the show and marked down (with Jane who's heel did look to be on the ground anyway) and yet Carrie chose to ignore Cameron's lift and not dock him any marks.

I hope Mel and Maks don't go tonight, I'm really enjoying their dancing and if they stay Maks is coming to London this week with Mel as she shoots the new Spice Girls video - should make for a fun VT next week - fingers crossed they are still here.
