You're right though bigtoe, Derek is defo choreographing the Pro dances, looks like 2 so far! wheeee! Talented boy and so cute.
![]() Isn't he just ![]() Eee.....I could put him on a butty! Talented family, another older sister has her own dance studio . 3 dancers in one family. I suppose Mark is like a brother as well, seeing as though they were all brought up together for 8 years. Looks like Mark and Julianne still have chemistry left over from their dancing partnership. They look good dancing together |

What.... middle aged????? and the rest
![]() The horrible thing is...when everything else finally collapses, they'll still be standing to attention. Yuk ![]() LOLOLOL! ![]() You've been great company bigtoe, and kept me highly amused! Gotta agree with all of your comments too. Len does give forth a broad smile when anyone makes a dig at him, and just claps along, like he gets the joke - wouldn't do that here. I wonder if they feel he gives the show an air of credibility, and is akin to Ballroom royalty or the arbiter of rules? Over here all the dance teachers who post think he's pretty average judging by their comments. I like the banter between him and the host, Tom B, though, usually along the lines of Len being born in the 18th Century! ![]() Shame that Alec has gone out first round again. But the competition was tough. However I didn't think the Billionaire deserved to be bottom 2. If he goes out next week, Kym will be a sad loss to the show. ![]() Really, IMO the waxwork looking singer and Cheryl and Karina and the Boxer deserved to be bottom 2 more than the rich guy. Was a bit naughty of Alec to tell the viewers to transfer his votes to Edyta now.

Oooh, cheers for the info. I still can't get over that they're Mormons though...![]() Quote:

Hmm, pity I can't stand Mark's celeb partner though.....![]() Do you know how old he is BTW? |

What a pity he didn't get a novice for a partner. I would have loved to see him mould somebody, like Julianne did wth Apolo. I really am not keen on Sabrina at all. Too in your face and cocky for my taste. Plus, she is a trained dancer. Not fair. |

I've been worried about posting spoilers, and upsetting readers who want to save themselves till Friday, so I've just contacted Admin with this message. Hope it's okay with the other posters in this thread.

Maybe that went against him? it wasn't pretty. I think the boxer could improve if he can keep on the right side of Karina. I know she's not popular personality wise, but I have to admit, her and Slavik are my favourite prof.partnership...ever! You know what, Karen Hardy would be a great replacement for Carrie-Ann. TBH....her critique, comments are a bit.....limited if you know what I mean. As time goes on, I increasingly want to put a sock in Brunos mouth, he's sounding ever more ludicrous. |

No big surprise Alec and Josie going, can't say I'll be that sad to see them go. They weren't the worst but not memorable.
Loved Albert and Anna! ![]() He's not the greatest dancer, a little dorky in fact but can't help but like him (despite his Ken doll hair!). Hope Helio can do as well in latin as he did in his ballroom. Looking forward to seeing more of him and Julianne I really like Marie, her sassy walk to the judges was classic. Similar to Lesley Garrett she'll really go for it. Those are the ones I want to do well, also Jennie and Derek Floyd and Karina were a little disappointing. He's got speed and sharpness when he moves and he has rhythm. He's got potential but I don't think he'll fulfill it. With both of her partners (one good , one bad) Karina, often, put extra steps in or "broke rules" Training footage wasn't great, didn't expect a boxer/sportsman to have such a defeatist attitude so early on. |

Oooh, so she's the former Shirley Stoppford, champion dancer with Sammy, and British No.1?!
I remember the big rumpus when Sammy fell for and started dancing with his next partner Barbara McCall, and so a great partnership broke up. That was very tricky for all concerned. I only saw them all on telly dancing ofcourse, but you could see the tension. So bigtoe, no wonder the Ballas pupils are such good dancers, they're partly British trained!

Funny how music seems to almost be more important than the dancing now to Mark, Julianne and Derek. Maybe they've achieved everything they want to in the dance world ?

But their energy is amazing. ![]() Oooh, it takes me back (and I feel old) as I used to avidly watch any dance show on TV, and ofcourse in those days we used to see the pro and amateur championships on the BBC, that's where I remember Karen Hardy from, in her amateur days, so when she turned up on SCD, I recognized her instantly! As Dance is so popular, instead of giving us DanceX, [even though we were introduced to Derek Hough ] I wish they'd broadcast the proper championships again.

Again, we are let down by the fact that dancing is now only shown on satellite channels (Eurosport??).

Thought I'd let everyone know that there is a Youtube channel that is posting up all the DWTS 5 shows almost immediately. Really HQ as well. Hope everyone else gets to enjoy it as much as I do! (It's not my channel btw). The channel as got other stuff up there too, but all of the first 2 nights dances and results are there:

but was right though after we'd watched the others. Wasn't the Cheetah girl brill? And Jane Seymour - never thought she would still be that agile ![]() Do all the male pros look cast from the same mould or is it just me? love them though
