Jane Seymour's mother has died. There are rumours that she might pull out of the competition.
Poor Jane

Poor Jane ![]() ![]() Even if she gets through tonight in her absence, surely she'll be away all next week, so will have to pull out? It's such a shame, as she was my fave female celeb on the show.

There's no video online yet of Derek & Jennie's QS, but I wonder if Derek saw this tribute video on youtube, as it's the same music he chose.

Who cares if he's not as "butch" as Maks, he's way more talented innit!

Polish Version
I tried to watch some videos on Raph's site, they are currently in season 6, week 2, to compare the Ballroom style, and watched a nice Waltz to Imagine by Lennon, vocals not up to much, but great to see the proper international Waltz danced with constant hold apart from opening and closing. Strange marking though, wide variation.
I did try to watch some Fox trots from the last series, but sadly they are *no longer available*. ![]() Very much liked the music choices though - all standards from the 30s and 40s.

Think Jennie has to buckle down now. It always annoys me when the celebs express horror at having the pro's leg between theirs, close body contact etc..... She was in the flippin' audience last season for gawds sake. If you don't fancy it, don't sign up then...grrrr........
Her comments regarding Derek were a bit childish. He has over 16 years training and won many competitions and a well respected choreographer. She needs to put her trust in him as a professional. Shame about the fall, but I think they should still be ok tonight. |

Watched Helio's mambo a few times now, I really love it.
Liked his macho Latino outfit as well. Glad that he turned down the chance to wear an Albert style shirt. Really hoping that they haven't peaked too early

La Rhumba, did you see Donny Osmond on Piers Morgan tonight? Just seemed funny as he was in the audience last night at DWTS. I switched over after champions league and there he was.
I didn't realise that they lost all their money and were ripped off. Strange that, as I thought the church looked after their finances. They showed loads of clips of the whole family with Marie dancing and singing. What came through was his unhappiness at being forced into the group aged 6 doing 3 shows a day and travelling. He broke down a couple of times recounting his story. He said he's content now though. He is such a lovely guy. |

A really interesting interview, and I saw him too, with little brother Jimmy, in the front row last night cheering on Marie. ![]() I was thinking that if they're all living in Utah again that maybe their children grew up knowing the Hough family? It must be in the water there that large families have such talented children. ![]() Wasn't it sad hearing him talk about himself as a 6 year old. I'm pleased that at last he can express those feelings, as for decades it's always been thought of as being sweetness and light in their family, but it must have been so hard. Also I thought the Mormons didn't believe in Divorce, but apparently Marie is getting a divorce at the moment. |

TBH - I'm not too sure about the rules on Mormon marraige. Its one of those religions I put in the cult bracket. But yeah, I would have thought divorce wasn't allowed. Good luck to her, hope she gets another fella!
Bit worried about Raphaels webcam, still not showing todays date and countdown time

obviously trying to bring some Las Vegas pizazz to the show - it was truly awful..... and so was Wayne's dancing - he looks like a waxwork - and dances like one too!

I thought the dresses this week were astonishing. After last series, where they were fabulous, there must have been a change of designer. This week many seemed to be wearing slashed skirts. And not just slashed in one place, the whole skirt was cut to ribbons. Very odd, and horrible - particulary Edyta's.
Changing the subject, has anyone else fallen head over heels in love with Helio? I've watched their Foxtrot about a thousand times. |

Good, it's the right decision. I would want my child to do the same thing in a similar situation.
