Why did LCD look better than plasma with SD source

Thought I'd update you...got the Sony in the end. Partly cos it fitted better in the space, and was also cheaper.

V happy with it. Although I have just noticed that the EPG doesnt seem to have updated all channels.

Do you mean some of the channels or programmes haven't appeared on it? - it's usually down to weak signal on one multiplex - often where you should be using a wideband aerial and aren't.

Congrats dmm27,

If I was buying a TV right now, I'd have gone for the 40D3000 as well.

I have a Bravia and haven't had any experience of missing (or incorrectly labelled?) channels on my EPG.

For reference, I do have a wideband aerial.
