Just heard Alan Titchmarsh say that Gloria Hunniford will be on his show tomorrow [ITV1 3-4pm] talking about SCD "and how you can dance like the stars" so maybe some of the SCD Pros will be on that, fingers crossed.

OMG!!! I've just realised, maybe Glo is introducing DWTS on UKTV Gold???

I'm gutted I haven't got that channel, wish it was on Freeview.

Could very well be pre-publicity for DWTS, as it starts next week, just read this in my TV mag, shall copy below, as I posted in another thread.

Just flicking through TV Choice, and there's a small piece about the show starting on UKTV Gold next Friday at 9 - 10.20pm and then 10.30 - 11.30pm. I guess that's the Results Show? Just demonstrates how much the BBC must edit every week. I'm soooooooo gutted I can't watch this.

BTW Marie Osmond is also a Contestant!

P.S. In the pic of Jane Seymour she looks exactly like she did 25 years ago!! How does she do it????

The start of DWTS Season 5 is on for 3 consecutive nights on ABC from 24th September - 26th September, and according to Radio Times UKTV Gold are showing DWTS from 8pm-10.20pm and then 10.30pm-11.30pm. It's also scheduled for repeat on Monday afternoon without the break from 1.40pm right through to 5pm. UKTV Gold are showing all of the edited highlights from those 3 nights which includes the results show, that's why it's on for so long. Lucky Americans!

I with a group of friends went to see Donny in concert a few years back - it was such a good night - we all had a ball - great concert and alot of laughing

I believe that Marie deals in antique dolls now? I hope she does well - sadly I don't have UK Gold only Freeview -so people will have to keep us posted

Is it true that Mel B will be competing on this series?

Marie Osmond. I'm a huge Osmonds fan but like others here I don't have access to UKTV Gold either.

Would love to see Donny on SCD. Might be a possibility one day as he seems to be over here more often these days.

Will have to hope the Beeb show it at some point.

Aw, they're still fab aren't they? Yes, I heard that Marie had given up showbiz which is a shame, and she was selling her dolls on QVC in America.
Mel B is a contestant too, the DWTS line-up looks brill.

Sadly, I've only got Freeview too.
I'm wondering if I can buy that Top Up TV in time, but it's £9.99 a month and £99 for the digi box that can take the card. My Freeview box is old with no card slot.

CP - he is fantastic - and he really responds to the crowd so it is more like a huge brilliant party - hope you have a great night

He would make a great contestant.

I'm gutted it's not on the BBC, there was some talk that it would be shown on BBC3, but no.

Thanks for all the info. That Monday afternoon repeat all the way thru sounds heavenly.

I bought a Freeview box advertised as Top Up TV compatible but only to find out that it no longer was. Would subscribe to Top Up TV if you didn't have to pay £99 for the box.

I completely agree, I'm in the same boat. With half these digital channels it's not certain you can receive them, and in my case I'd have to hire someone to fit a new external aerial aswell, and it'd be a big expense as I'm in a top floor flat. I can't pick up so many of the new channels that have supposed to come onto Freeview, and I've been told it's my aerial.

If I could just ring up and and pay £9.99 a month on my credit card and switch on Top Up TV, I'd do it tomorrow just to watch DWTS.

Ah, apparently, it's "one special night of Rhumba-ing"........so nothing to do with DWTS or the SCD Tour.

GG: "30 years in Showbiz"

The SCD related event is a Tea Dance for charity for her late daughter's Cancer fund.

Glo said 4 professionals [sounded like D&L and Brendan amongst them] would be giving demos and dancing with the people who go. They said details on the ITV website, but can't find anything so far. But a video clip might go up later of the interview.

Cannot find a website for the Caron Keating Foundation, but maybe details of the Tea dance event will be made known soon.
