DVD & Blu-Ray
Do you see Blu-Ray as the "Next Generation" of Filming Transmission or a Competitor with the DVD?
If The Next Generation do you think it's something that will finally shove the DVD / HD DVD off the market in the years to come? |

Room for all 3 formats.
People who want the best perfomance will pay for Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. Backwards compatibility and upscaling will ensure that DVD's will still be around for while. |

I've always considered HD DVD and Blu-ray to be very comparable formats and both carry the next gen tag, lumping HD DVD with DVD makes me think the OP is a Blu-ray owner or doesn't understand what HD DVD is
