I was rewatching over the weekend my James and Camilla tape, yes I'm that sad, and saw them on Richard and Judy a couple of years ago where they were denying or not their romance, has this made Camilla hold back as well? I know she's attached but this is dancing, Matt and Mark managed lots of chemistry with their partners and that was why they were in the final.

Get some acting lessons in people, Jane Harrison was the one who did the excellent job on Matt D

I thought he looked pretty good doing the samba, which is a difficult dance, and deserved higher marks. I think the public are warming to Gethin and that he will go a long way in this competition.

Sex, Passion and romance IS what we need and I feel Geth can give it before the series is out. Just hope he doesnt leave it too late but I know that he can do it. COME ON GETHY BABY

Yep he can do it. Just needs the confidence to let go.

I think there is chemistry there, Camilla is doing her best and the longer they stay in the comp, the more the chemistry will develop as Gethins confidence grows. I'm all for the sex and passion and so is Gethin by the looks of things.
I agree with Mrs F - I think the services of Jane Harrison are required sooner rather than later
Although, at this point, I don't think Gethin is as inhibited as Matt D was .

Hopefully he can take a leaf out of Matt Di's book! He'll need to start improving very soon though or there is a danger he'll be left behind. His looks will only take him so far alas.

I think he CAN do it, its just he's a kid presenter and has a reputation to worry about..I can understand that. But he should let himself go a little bit more. Everyone will love it and I bet he will too.

I have suggested acting lessons with Jane before in this thread. Gethin will seriously get into trouble if he doesn't improve to put in more 'performance' than he is doing now... Wish him well!

Anyone know if they are doing a foxtrot or a paso? I really hope they've got a good song this week. I love Camilla but I can't say I've liked any of her song choices so far this series.

is it the dancers that choose the song? I never knew that...

Yes Camilla chooses the songs at the beginning and then I think they're approved by the BBC.

So far I think it's the music that's letting the dancing down. I think Gethin would do so much better with appropriate music.

Yes but the BBC approve them, I'm sure most of the bizzare song choices aren't chosen by the pro's willingly. For example I remember Karen breaking down last year in tango week because she was having difficulty choreographing it- and no wonder when they had to dance to elenor rigby

Yes I agree about the music letting Gethin down the cha cha was a good choice. But both the samba and particularly the tango looked really weird to the music.

I think it maybe time for Camilla to retire. She never quite sees to pick the right music, is afraid to get too close to someone good looking and I don't think shes strict enough like Erin or Karen.

Am REALLY hoping they get the FT this week... and I really don't think Camilla is entirely responsible for the music choices - as others have already said, the BBC are sure to exert a good deal of pressure on this...

I have no idea who chooses the music, I would have thought the pros would have some input though.
