I purchased a cinema suuround sound system to complement my Set up and have had it stored for a week due to decorating and putting my TV on the wall
Anyway my problem is when i set up the surround sound; I plugged it in but it is stuck in standby. No matter what I press it will not switch on. It displays an error code of F61-76 is there any experts on here to put me out of my misery.
I have sent it back but I'm just curious now.

The following is to be found on page 41 of the instruction manual forthe SC-PT450....

“F61” • Check and correct the speaker cable connections.
If this does not fix the problem, consult the dealer.

“F76” • There is a power supply problem. Consult the dealer.
