That story was in The Sun (where else! ) the other day. Apparently that costume is planned for the semi final I think it was, so it all seems a bit of a cynical ploy to keep KB in as long as possible imo. Even my OH is planning on watching SCD this year because of Miss Brook's participation.

Oh, this is bringing back memories of another flesh coloured outfit: Carol Vorderman when she did the rumba. Those facial expressions...

Hopefully Kelly won't be doing the same faces.

Perhaps many men at least won't be looking at Kelly's facial expressions

I'd only just managed to forget about that, did you have to go and remind me?

Sorry! But there's nothing like a bit of nostalgia!

It's funny I thought of THAT flesh coloured outfit when I read the thing about KB's too! Oh that was one of the most cringeworthy things I have ever seen, what was she thinking! I was watching my old video of SCD series 2 the other day, but quickly fast forwarded that bit, once is definitely enough where that rumba is concerned!

I did n't see that series with Natasha, I've just watched Carol in "The" dress & it did n't look too bad to me - at least she has a good figure. The dancing & facial expressions were another matter tho .
I loved that Paul chap - what a scream he was, reminded me a bit of Wayne Sleep. What's happened to him?

Was their a row over pay last year ?

I think it is grossly unfair that someone who leaves in the first 2 or 3 weeks gets the same fee as those who go on to the end .
It woudl have been so wrong if Nicholas and Mica had received the same fee as , for example Matt and Mark
There should be a sliding scale based on weeks in the show .

I see your point, but I guess for people in the entertainment industry it might not be very desirable ~ if an actor signs on for SCD they have no idea if they'll be in it for one week or ten, so they might turn down a load of work in December, only to find they're out of the show by the beginning of November with a reduced income / fee and no more work on the horizon for a few months. I suppose that why they get the same fee across the board.

That's just what I was about to say ! Also they are still under contract to the BBC for the duration of Strictly no matter how early they get voted out....so have to be available for ITT appearances, and press etc, and the final show....

OOOh I didnt think about it like that! How good would that be though, geting £25K for one week, plus the few weeks training!

On the downside they will have to have been voted out!

I fear for Kelly's outfits.

Let's not forget that this is what she wore to a premier, and is her idea of a "dress".

I certainly wouldn't object to Kelly wearing that outfit for one of her dance routines. I imagine there's a fair few blokes who'd agree with me.

She'd need to be careful though, to avoid the risk of an unintentional 'wardrobe malfunction' - might just be too much for poor ole' Brucie heart to handle!!

Now I'm not particuarly knowledgeable on the problematic and thorny topic of ladies supportive undergarments, but would reckon she would need to be wearing concrete reinforced cup holders to prevent those howitzers from shooting out unawares!!

Isn't that a perfectly normal Rhumba dress?

The pay stuff - would only believe that if I saw it in their bank accounts

How is this news exciting when Lilia and Ola will likely be wearing much less on a regular basis?
