This worked fine. When i got the E1 i simply substituted V Box with E1 using new Cable. and this did not give me anything. I then connected directly to tv (input 4) E1 in place of PS3 and this worked I then used same input in Reciever to connect PS3 and this worked As such i currently have my Sky and PS3 through reciever and E1 direct to to TV. This would not usually be a problem but the PS3 outputs Blu rays at 1080p 24fps (which TV will except and significantly improves judder) and the reciever will not pass this through so want this source connected straight to tv. Sky and E1 are only 720p/1080i and i am more than happy for these to pass through reciever.
I am completely stumped, surely this can not be an input or switching problem. It surely cant be a cable problem either as same effect occurs using cable which successfull inputs ps3 and the E1's cable works direct to tv? Please this is really annoying me as i am almost certain i am missing something and i don't know what.”
I have just brought up the online manual for the VSXAX2AV, it states this receiver has only 3x HDMI, 2 inputs and 1 output. The top two connections are the inputs, the bottom one is the output.
Now the VSX-AX4AXASi has 4xHDMI inputs/1xHDMI output and the VSX-AX2AS has 3xHDMI inputs/1xHDMI output.
Are you sure it's the AX2AV, as I can't see how you have been connecting all sources and still have an output to the display.
