USB DVD Player Problems

Hello all,

I have purchased a Biostek XS360 DVD Player with USB in. It recognises my USB flash stick no problems but it won't recognise my 250GB Portable HDD at all?

I have tried formatting it both NFTS and FAT32.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have found that some USB players will only recognise storage capacities upto a maximum volume (say 8 gigabytes for example). If you can, partition a section of the drive with a volume of say 4 or 8 gigabytes and add some data like mp3's or movies then try that.

Also does the frive take power form the USB slot? Try and plug it into the mains.
