Help! I Can't Remember This Dance!
Elanor

I'm sure one of you will be able to answer this one immediately - my mind has gone blank.

WHO danced (and what dance was it) to the song with the lines "wouldn't you like to have fun fun fun... how's about a few laughs, laughs, laughs..." etc, with a long sequence on the diagonal? In my head it was a quickstep, and it was Lilia and Aled, or Lilia and Darren, and she was wearing a gold dress... but a few searches on YouTube tells me that I am wrong. I can't get that one line and the movement out of my head, and it's driving me crazy! I can't even think what the rest of the song is, and I KNOW it's a really famous song that will make me want to slap myself when you tell me. I think my memory is broken.

That's a line from Big Spender which I think was Darren and Lilia's foxtrot.

It was Darren & Lilia. "Hey! Big Spender" ... Foxtrot if I'm not mistaken.

THANK YOU!

Thank goodness I remembered right about it being Lilia - I thought I was going mad. PHEW.

Wasn't it just? The way some posters drone here, you'd think Darren couldn't dance and Lilia didn't create good choreography!

And they question why D&L won series 3 over and over!

Well there were lots of people who were delighted they won (including me). The Big Spender routine shows why! (along with all their other great dances).

I fully agree with the above. That dance was superb, and I always think Lilia choreographs to her partner's ability.
