Wall Mounted LCD & Hidden Cables

Hi, I'm new to this so please bare with me.....
I have purchased a 42" Philips LCD TV and wall bracket to suit. The idea was to have the TV mounted on the wall and have the Sky box, DVD player & laptop located approx 5Mtrs away in the oposite corner of my living room. My intention is to have cables hidden behind the skirting/wall from the Sky box, DVD player & laptop to the TV. Does anyone know the type of cables I would require to enable me to do this? Or if there is a system which would combine the required cables for the 3 devices into one - i.e. save running 3+ separate cables etc??
Any advice, tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to look at the best connections that are available on each piece of equipment.

In order of quality - Composite, S-Video, Scart (RGB), Component, DVI and HDMI.

Sky HD will be HDMI

DVD Player - Depends on the player you have, will either be Scart, Component, DVi or HDMI.

The laptop - Again this will depend on connections, could be S-Video + 3.5m audio, VGA + 3.5m audio, DVi + 3.5m audio or HDMI.

If you are not sure, you could either list the connections available on each component or post the models numbers.

Might be obvious, but add every cable you can - wire is a LOT cheaper than ripping it all out to add an extra one in 6 months time!.

Indeed, and leave space to add more in the future for when you change TV and it needs more!
