To Buy Or Not To Buy Panasonic 50
First time on here so , heres my problem ,
My front room is about 12 x 11 and in the corner is my panasonic 32lxd60 with cinema surround , V+ and dvd recorder , now i want to get the panasonic TH50PX70 . Now am I being over zelous or plain silly to get this beauty , I dont think i will be getting any HD dvd or blue ray . my wife moans as i only bought the panasonic 32 lcd last christmas as with the dmres15 dvd recorder (also panasonic). Any advice from you would really help me decide !. Andrew |

What's your viewing distance to the TV? The new Panny is nearly two and a half times the size of the old one so you have to bear that in mind.

Iam approx 8 feet at the most and the nearest we will be is 3 feet as we are sitting in an L shape (3 seater and 2 seater"

Andrew Your 32" is about as large as I would go for SD at 8', others on here may have different opinions. To give yourself an idea of what the 50" would look like at 8' away position yourself at 5' from your 32". |

Idid as you said sat 5 feet away and on freeview sd the picture was blured when the camera moved , but on V+ sd was fine on Hd picture was fantastic . It Looks like I shall stay with what I have and save my £1399 from buying the 50 inch panny . Many Thanks Bobcar Andrew |
