LG 42 LCD reliability ?

Are there any views on the reliability of LG 42 LCD model.
I am looking to but a the sales guy at one shop says they dont deal with LG due to reliability problems a la Phillips.

Is there a thread on this already ?

LG are generally MUCH more reliable than Philips!

I've had one issue with anything LG i've ever owned and that was quickly resolved.

I've got an LG TV and love it.
