All I can say is it's going to save me a fortune in phone bills as what's the point in voting if the judges get the final say in who goes through to the next week.
Has the "Major News" thread been moved here from another forum? Interesting to see on that thread a number of people saying they only flick over to the final two minutes to see who goes (why? they miss the pro dances!).
They won't bother to watch at all if they can get the information in their Sunday papers.
Well I've emailed the BBC complaints department about this. I suggest everyone who loves SCD does the same - if they get enough complaints they might think again.

My thoughts exactly. I hate TV like this that isn't live. It feels so pointless.

As it seems to be 'all change' for SCD perhaps the BBC are making a few more changes which might surprise us. e.g. static cameras so no more close ups of the dancers' armpits and nostrils.
Seriously, the Beeb have completely lost the plot, and I suspect that they will lose viewers too.

I posted a thread saying they had lost the plot last year.
Seriously I really am rather gutted by this as feel it's all about handing over more control over to the judges as if they don't already have enough.
On evictions before at least I could accept it as the public vote. I can't feel happy about the judges deciding it, as what they can think is the better dancer might mean really boring to me.
Incidentally, do we know for certain that Claudia is back with ITT on weekdays? (Sorry, if this is already being discussed in another thread but I'm completely out of touch with the goss at the moment.)

As far as the official press release said, yes, but I'm not sure of anything any more.

Thanks Nancy. I just wondered if because the Berks is showing 'more behind the scenes footage' in the results programme whether that was going to be the thin edge of the wedge, and was going to be all that we saw. i.e. no ITT.
Just a thought: if the judges are to be given more input into the result, how about making sure that they are all QUALIFIED to juge ballroom and latin?

Translation: More pointless celebs on ITT plugging stuff instead.

wow - when i posted this in the morning all it was about was that the results show was moving to sunday. now i'm back from college i hear about a danceoff. i always thought the judges deciding who goes on the x factor was bad and it undermines the viewers. if someone gets the lowest amount of votes they should go. i can't see why the sunday show can't be live. this is bbc1 biggest entertainment show.
Am a bit shocked that they've changed the format of the results really, it means i won't be able to think productively for the whole of sunday
Though i think it's better that there is a dance off, it'll save someone with a lot of potential from leaving, as it's down to the judges - not just the viewers!
