Using TV as sound system?
I have just got a projector for watching movies and need to save up for the speaker system.
The sound coming out of the side of the projector is pretty bad so I was wondering, as I have two huge rear speakers connected to my tv, is it possible to run the projector through the TV using it's surround system? The movie would be played from a DVD player though. |

If the DVD player or PJ for that matter have audio outputs and the TV has audio inputs I don't see why not.
The inputs on the TV in question would be the Red/White/Yellow connections, unless it has dedicated audio inputs, you will have to select the AV channel manually that corresponds to this connection. |
