If you've actually been to the USA, you'd understand.. Thats not to say all Americans are like that, but a lot haven't travelled in fact the figure is very low for Americans with passports.

I think he's being ironic. It's usually him coming across as some sort of rabid Daily Mail sociapath.

Can I suggest you look up the difference between the words "generalisation" and "evidence"?

Tell you what you go back and read every one of your posts where you slag off everyone who doesn't agree with you and have a go at actresses like BP and CT, quite nastily and also RTD and lets see who has the biggest chip on their shoulder.

Even if we accept this point then I would say that there is no law (legal or moral) against having "a chip on the shoulder". However making racist comments is somewhat against the T&Cs of this site.

Also I certainly do not have such a "chip". I merely express opinions as I see fit.

So I ask again please show me proof of me making racist comments.

"Billie Piper is ugly" is hardly an opinion - more of an insult. You could have just said "I don't find Billie Piper attractive" but you decided to insult her instead. Once you meet her and she insults you, then you could have the right to insult her back

"Billie Piper is ugly" is an opinion! If it is not an opinion then it must be a fact...

Whether someone infers that it is an insult is irrelevant.

I could say that this government is one of the worst ever - Gordon Brown would find that an insult but most people would just think it is one woman's opinion.

Your wish, etc...

"Seeing as the BBC is getting increasingly ethnic orientated (rightly or wrongly, you decide) it is possible we may end up with a Asian or coloured doctor in the future?

Or Does Dr Who come from the part of Gallifrey called England?"

Why would it be wrong to get increasingly ethnic orientated? Using the term coloured. Also, I think you'll find black and asian people can be born in England (ignorance or bigotry, you decide).

Yes, its an opinion - but quite an unnessacarily harsh one. The question is, if you spent a day or an hour in the company of Billie (and you got on quite well), would your opinion change?

And the even bigger question is - why do looks matter to you anyway? Its personality and talent that counts, yes? (Don't bother quoting this and saying she has neither because obviously she has, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about her would we)

Quote:

True, it is irrelevant - but you used it as a bullet-point to your argument that she's bad actress. Not only could you have used kinder terms to express your concerns of her appearance, but - even better - you could have left appearance out of it.

A) don't bring politics into little pointless issues like this, it just gets a bit mad...and

B) ...you didn't exactly call Gordon Brown ugly there did you? See, see - there's a difference.

so its not ok to have a jokey bit of fun but dervish its fine for you to say someone is ugly crap etc(this post), homophobic (the constant moaning about a supposed gay agenda by RTD) and not to mention the support for that insanely sick anti CT thread a few months back.

But hey all thats ok ya know just dont poke fun at the americans.

You have made yourself look foolish by everything you have said (and tried to spell) on this forum. Your comments are indeed the opposite of sensible, and I also find it worrying that you catagorise your bigotry as moderate.

I suggest you put down your copy of The Daily Mail, get out of your vinergary little bedroom and take a look at the real world. Then and only then will you able to engage with real live human beings, instead of your collection of dog-eared Doctor Who novels.

ha ha ha.

P.S. I thought I'd point out that while calling black people 'coloured' can be put down to lack of education and social awareness, the line "Or Does Dr Who come from the part of Gallifrey called England?" suggests you are implying only white people come from England, which is the kind of bilge the BNP spout.

Of course if you did not mean this perhaps you could find a responsible adult to proof read your suspect nonsense before you post. Although judging from your homophobic and misogynistic utterances elsewhere, perhaps you did mean it.

If in fact you just like winding people up on forums maybe you should find a more constructive hobby. Life is short Dervish, start doing something with it.

Hey I don't have to it looks like every other poster has already beat me to it.
Seems the only thing we can all agree on is that your a berk who can't spell, and wouldn't know a decent argument if you fell over it.

Up and down the country there are thousands of better actresses in rep and provincvial theatre who would knock the spots off Billie (someone should) if given the chance.

But in our sick Celebrity driven society they will never get the chance - rather like all the people who could have been made the new assistant but couldnt becuase of TV's demand for stunt-casting.”
