I've already taken this up with Rug, their answer was:
There are no plans to produce another cast album for Joseph in the foreseeable future. The reason for this is that there are already numerous cast CDs in existence from various productions worldwide, and this latest London production is actually based on the 1991 cast album – which is available to purchase both in the theatre and online.
We do plan to release an extended version of this CD with two additional tracks, one being Lee Mead singing Any Dream Will Do, and the second will be Dean Collinson’s rendition of the Pharaoh’s new number – King of My Heart. For information about the release date please keep coming back to check the website.
I mailed them back to register my annoyance and asking if the matter could be brought to the attention of ALW and they replied again:
I am sorry to disappoint you but it is unlikely that we will reconsider this decision. However, there will be some exciting news about Lee Mead coming soon, so keep coming back to check the website for the latest information.
You can email via this address and I can pass your views on to the office of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Naturally I've asked for certain views of mine to be passed on.
