What a performance on Dancing With The Stars, i knew Sabrina could dance as i seen her in Cheetah Girls movie and also the concert on Disney Channel, but she blew me away on DWTS show, which i watched today on UK Gold

Watching her dance was watching a professional dancing with her partner

Check out the Dancing with the stars 5 thread for Sabrina discussion. Trouble brewing with this contestant

Did love the dance - however, if true about her previous experience, i agree with the reference to her as the 'Cheater Girl'

I like her. I know a lot of people are saying she's had previous experience and it's not fair, but I don't know - the producers let her come on the show, it's not like she forced her way on.

I was a fan anyway, I like the Cheetah Girls

So what she has exprienced in dancing, but i am guessing not in ballroom/latin dancing

Yeah but I think she'll have an advantage in the Latins because the hip-hop actions can be murged into it like she did in the cha cha...

She seems nice though ...

She's not exactly trained in ballroom/latin but this is a video of her that's been going around of her doing a tango with some latin and other steps thrown in

I'm assuming it's from the Cheetah Girls (I'd never heard of 'em) I never knew she was also a dance instructor.
Just watching her cha cha I would have known she definitely wasn't a pro, even if she wasn't dancing with Mark.

I heard Mario Lopez had won many awards for partner dancing but it was never confirmed. He got to the final but lost to a complete newbie to dancing. I think Sabrina will be a lot better than him though.

I'm not bothered by her inclusion, looking forward to seeing her dance. The DWTS audience will know about her previous training so they'll decide, they have more power to decide who stays, compared to SCD

Which is exactly why she shouldn't be in the show.

I don't think she's actually professional standard but at the standard the finalists get to after all their training. It takes the enjoyment out of the show to have someone who's already a such a high standard.

Maybe my opinion will change as the show goes on but for now I think she's very irritating. I've never heard of the Cheetah Girls but I suppose this means she has a big fanbase and will be in it for weeks...

Well she's on at the second time of asking - the first time they turned her down - and if the commercial sponsors of the show - which is what drives America - want a younger profile audience they'll use her to attract the youngsters to watch and therefore earn more via advertising.

It's pretty clear that overall the audience for SCD/DWTS tends to be older than the audience for DOI and the DOI spins offs around the world. Indeed this forum bears that out compared to the majority of teens who post on the DOI forum.

Yeah, but still - they didn't have to take her on the show, and if it was only the younger vote they wanted then they could have had one of the Jonas Brothers or someone from Hannah Montana (other than BRC) or Suite Life of Zack and Cody or something similar, all of whom would have been just as, or even more, recognisable to the audience than Sabrina.

Anyway - just my opinion
