Its a TV show, therefore, expect none of it to be real, the bright box in the corner rarely gives out anything factual. But we are all being led by it one way or another

If I had a pound for every time the headline "Fix Factor" was used , I'd be rich.

Well it all helps to explain the lack of quality of many of those who get to the finals- a lot of decent contestants are eliminated before we even see them because their face doesn't fit or whatever.

There isn't anything surprising or shocking there.

Contestants have to go through several auditions before the judges audition. Qute obvious. It's not something the show would ever deny and it's impossible that the four could see 100,000 contestants. I also don't know how being put through to the judges auditon makes people think they are good. Surely, even the thickest contestants, could realise that by going to see the panel, they are more likely to be crap?

Contestants are told to answer back. I think this has been happening from day one of Pop Idol. Simon has often spoken about wanting contestants to stick up for themselves and not just take harsh criticism with a thankyou and a fake smile.

EDIT: The DS headline is currently about SCD being fixed. It's all the rage just now.

It's getting out of hand.

Why can't they just 'find' someone and be done with it!?

I must say I have been struck by the apparent lack of bands being seen to get through over the past few weeks. It has focused time and time again on solo performers, so it wasn't really a surprise to read that Cowell has alledgedly put groups together from original solo auditionees.

Because that wouldn't draw 8.5m viewers? They need some conflict, personalities and stories to mix in with the singing.

They get their Big Brother info from these forums, so they probably just came on here last night to make up todays story.

Nope, an "insider" telling the Daily Star

Loving the way people act all enlightened and non-gulliable then quote the Daily Star/Mail as evidence

It sounds very cruel what they have done to Emily (the overweight girl from article). Shame on Simon, it seems he is using young gullible people to make money on his TV show. Hopefully karma will get him for this one day.

Hmmm...you supported the MacDonald Brothers last year, which is proof that your ears are not as good as they could be.

What A Crock!

Who saw saturdays show? Did you see Mrs O finally "OUT" the whole crooked thing
- "you'll understand at the end why i'm voting this way" then boots out Beverley instead of Hope
- Unbelievable.

I'm not even a Beverley fan, but that was just plain blatant.

Well good on you Mrs O - maybe you have already packed your bags and are shaking the whole scam up whilst you are still there - but at least you said it.

All the recent telephone voting scandals made them and others pull their text-voting
- but its still all there behind the scenes!!

Well - here I WANT TO FIGHT BACK!

Please join my campaign against The GREAT X FACTOR SCAM!
Mrs O has led the way, we all need to follow
- vote here to give your opinion - http://xfactorcommunity.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=75

"I have a dream" - that so many of us will show here that we are not a bunch of mugs and that we deserve to be treated fairly, that X Factor has to change its ways.

I know, a Big Dream - but thats what all the worthwhile dreams are!.

"Keepin the X Factor Real"

I wondered if that's what Sharon meant. Why can't the judges just be fair!

What!? Sharon's comment meant that she wanted it to go to deadlock as she didn't want to send anyone home. God , it isn't a conspiracy theory , sorry to dissappoint you!
