I don't have any idea who more than half of the celebs are. But my first thoughts were that I'm not too keen on Kelly, also hugely dislike Brendan so she was never going to be my favourite. Love Lilia so I'll always like anyone she is with, if anyone can turn Dominic into a dancer its her. Liked the look of Alesha, I do hope the pop band thing doesn't work against her though. Also liked Gabby, don't think James can treat her the way he treated his last partner. I hope the two married couples things doesn't get talked about over and over. It's nice to see Flavia has a younger partner, seems a bit of a cheeky boy though.

I'm sure Flavia can handle him.

First of all Stephanie is just a legend! She was hilarious, although I think Vincent is slightly terrified!!

I'm liking Matt & Alesha, John & Nicole and Matt & Flavia. I think all 3 couples look as if they have great chemistry already. They just seemed to click. I also thought Dominic and Letitia seemed lovely.

Previously thought Gethin would be a dark horse, but not as convinced now. Not sure about how well they will get on together. Haven't seen nearly enough to know for sure though, just a hunch!

Er hem, pardon me for trying to be heard above the noise that is the Brendon and Kelly/Gabby and Kenny show, but I also think Penny came across as rather lovely. I am an unashamed fan of Ian Waite (well someone has to be!), but I think they could look spectacular together, and she seems very modest and unassuming.

I'd love to think the likes of Stephanie and Willie can stay in long enough to give us the entertainment value that makes SCD such a rich experience.

I agree - As much as I love James & Ola I am bored already with the hubbie/wife thing and I do think Kelly's publicity machine has gone into overdrive

Stephanie will fine at the ballroom but latin dances or any other dances that have slight speed to them and need a bit sex appeal she will struggle. The fact that the judges have the final say may help because if she is in the bottom two she might be saved on her ballroom strength.

Loved Stephanie as I think she is just so funny. Gethin caought my attention for obvious reasons. Aleesha looks just too good ( I am looking forwrd to seeing her dance.

Yawned at Brendan /Kelly, unless they blow me away with the dancing, the sooner they go the better.

Thoroughly enjoyed tonight's Documentary - It was nice to get to know the celebrities a little bit before the show starts in earnest next week - I don't have a favourite as yet, but thought that they seemed like a nice bunch.

I'm really excited to see the new celebs.
Most of the ladies looked like a lot of fun. Letitia and Kate didn't know what they would be like but liked them from the clips. Stephanie was as I expected, fab.
I thought Penny was sweet and unassuming.
Now I've seen Gethin in motion he is very very cute. Mmmmm! He seems very confident also. Love Camilla's ballroom routines, the latin could prove to be even more enjoyable!
Still not sure what to make of Matt DA.

Rehearsal footage and ITT should be a lot of fun this year. can't wait!
eta: thought Matt C's hair looked much better than I thought it would, hope he keeps it from getting too long though

I really cant watch Jill and Darren's jive without crying. It's because I know what the judges said next and what marks they gave.

Love Stephanie - she personified English humour and SCD all-in-one. She also seems a hit on DS.

As a celebrity she epitomises why I don't like the new Judges Final Choice decision by the BBC. The public will love her but she may be voted of too early because she doesn't have the potential to dance to a professional level. The measure by which (I assume) Craig and Arlene will judge the bottom two.

Kelly:- The presses fave which may help or it may hinder, she has the figure but we know she's not the sharpest so that may also not help. Brendan will be Brendan and why should he change - after Fiona surprised he came back think I'd have run for the hills!

Dominic:- NEVER bet against Lillia maybe her toughest challenge yet but think he's up for it so...

Gabby:- Annoys me but only slightly less than James so not good

Kenny:- Hated him on th rugby pitch and imho he's got the personality of a plank and the size difference is daft

Stephanie:- Loved the Gabby comment, think she'll give as good as she gets to Arlene! - good luck to her

Alesha:- was honest that she has no dance background and this is something she really wants to do alongside Matt could do very well

Brian:- Reminds me of Bill but a bit more willing so to speak under Karen's guidance may be around a while

Penny:- Comes under the same pretty heading as Kelly but brighter (imho) the fact they're are the same hight could make it interesting but he did well with Zoe so...

Kate:- Will go very well with Anton, not sure about the;r Latin but high hopes for their ballroom

John:- Er yeah erm no idea could be ok could be a disaster

Letitia:- Could do well looked a bit off tonight but that could have been VERY early training, think she looks great very real just hope she doesn't get caught up in the 'looks' thing with Kelly/Penny

Gethin:- Not sure about him bit of an unknown rumours already of bust ups with Camilla think he's best to shut up and dance!

Matt:- Was in the paper today bitching about Kelly - Matt concentrate on yourself and you could go far!

I have a horrible feeling that John and Nicole will be out either first or third week (2nd week being ladies' night).

John seems like he may take a little while to get used to dancing, and Nicole is not one of the more popular pros.
