I had a good giggle at that comment. Steph is a scream, she'll survive a couple of weeks, especially that she's got Vincent.
I LOL at her expression more than her words. Her expression was that of "What IS Gabby doing here in this competition when she can do THAT?"

'Don't ronde (sp?) me' she warned Vincent... That was another classic!

I have to say Gabby does have a good posture and hold and she seemed to be up her feet doing what looked like a quickstep routine well. Even if she's at the bottom two, the judges will keep her, me-reckons...

I think Stephanie will be hilarious to watch, but very difficult to work with.

Hmm, an interesting senario IF Gabby and Kelly were at the bottom. But I didn't see ANY training footage worth commenting from Kelly. It's all about looking into Brendan's eyes and doing mouth-to-mouth... From the training footage it seems Gabby does have the dance ability. So I think if this happens, the judges will favour Gabby over Kelly...

If so, many of my species will be crying buckets and switch off the telly...

Difficult will be to watch her do quickstep and jive!

Yeah, she seems to need a lot of tea breaks from the look of it. But Vincent will be a consummate Italian man taking care of his lady, whether she's half or twice his age!

I just didn't see at all. Of all the couples, this pairing of Vincent with Stephanie came across as the most incongruent.

His tongue-in-cheek playing of the self-obsessed Italian lover last year with his younger partner made for alot of laughs and drew in quite a few fans.

This simply won't happen with Stephanie. I expect this partnership to be far more business-like. I expect them to get on, but the partnership will be nowhere near as endearing as his partnership with Louisa.

Add to this, the (on paper) very strong female line-up, her age and consequently less agility on the dance floor, I fully expect her to be gone week 2 or week 3. Harsh but, in my opinion, true.

There will be hell on if they do-Kelly is supposed to be this years biggest catch. Mind you can't see Craig or Bruno showing Kelly the door, Arlene will probably save Kelly too-so she can have another go

Vincent is brilliant, but she also looks as if she doesn't tolerate being told what to do very well which could frustrate our favourite Italian!!

NEVER doubt the ability of an Italian man to make his lady feel special, whatever age or temperament she may be!!!

Well, if there is a dance off, unless Kelly is good with her rhumba (traditionally rhumba is a difficult dance to do well, and I think she's doing rhumba and Gabby the quickstep), I don't think it'd going to be easy for Kelly to shine against Gabby. Mind you, I haven't seen Kelly's training at all so this is just based on on one-sided impression I had of Gabby.

Even though I don't have a good initial impression of Gabby, having seen her move around the dance floor in her training, she does look good up her feet.

Then again, she might suck at latin dances...

Hi all ---like SB I too am an Ian fan and glad to see so many of you liked Penny. I do hope they do well as I'd really love to see Ian every week unlike last year.

Have to say I was a bit miffed that Ian and Matt got such short shrift on the preview and I'm fed up to the eyeballs with Brendan and Kelly already. I wish Kelly's publicist and the BBC's pr department would cut back on the publicity for her as I'm starting to dislike her now and I didn't before!

Loved Stephanie and I'm really rooting for her and Vincent. I guess they probably won't make it to the finals but I do hope they last several weeks as I think they will truly bring an entertainment value to the show and we do need that.
