Stolen iPod

Hopefully this won't sound like a totally daft question, but can a stolen iPod be tracked in some way if it's used to download iTunes?

unfortunately not although apple were talking a little while ago at adding features that will deauthourise an aipod that has been stolen so that it cant be charged ect but i have not heard any more about that recently., now is probably the time to treat yourself to a newer model with a learger hdd ect?

It was my son's that got pinched and he only got it recently. Never mind, we'll replace it and he'll have to look after it a bit better I suppose.

I had my 'phone stolen (actually, my WHOLE HANDBAG!! )

and having got over losing my bag a little bit (still soooooo ANGRY with the thieving basstads!! ) I am just so pleased that I left my MP3 behind that day.

It's a pity that MP3 players lack the technology that would enable you to "register", it so that you would be able to block something like the equivalent of a mobile's IMEI number if it was stolen.

As I had registered my 'phone I was able to block both the IMEI and the SIM, so the bugger wouldn't have been able to sell it on hahahahahahaha
