I enjoyed watching the American version of the show, particularly those incredible costumes. Well, it was in Hollywood, after all!. I hope our dressmakers watched and took notes. I was also hugely impressed with the dancing of Julianne Hough, the winning professional. She is as good as anyone I have seen on the competition floor at Blackpool, with blinding speed, hairsbreadth precision and an intensely dramatic style that made all the others look as if they were just playing about.

I gather that was Series 4 - I wonder why we didn't get the first 3 series?

I don't know - although if it's any comfort I think series 4 was Julianne's first.

I think she's terrific too. I adored her and Apolo as a couple and was so pleased they won. I said before on the DWTS thread they're my favourite couple of all the US and UK series that I've seen.
