Really cheap mobiles
My poor trusty old Nokia needs a new battery and keypad and I was about to buy them, but today I was in Sainsburys and they are selling an LG KG275 for £9.99. It's on Orange PAYG which is what I am on anyway. So I bought one...it's brilliant...it works. It has no camera, no MP3, no Bluetooth, no games. It's a back to basics phone which just makes calls and the usual things like messaging, clock, calculator etc. and it's tiny. Brilliant for the kids if you don’t want to spend any money and brilliant for me who only makes a few calls and doesn’t need all the trimmings. I suspect at this price they won’t last long.
I also hear that Adsa are doing a similar thing with Sagam phones...it seems that Orange are having a big push at the moment. |

The biggest PAYG seller on Orange is the £9.99 Alcatel 230. We don't sell many of the Motofones even though they are also £9.99.

I've just gone back to my old Nokia 7250i as every phone I've had since has either crashed, froze or battery life has been terrible. I only text and very very rarely use the camera feature any more so I'm not really fussed about it not having all the trimmings either.
I think the older phones are better then new phones with everything except the kitchen sink in them. |
