Advice on purchase of HD TV

Hi,

A friend at work wants to splash out upto £750 on a new TV (HD). He's not fussy on whether its LCD or plasma and doesn't seem to have a particular reason on why he wants HD (other than he needs a new TV).

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Need a bit more info really. What size screen does he want for a start? Does he require any special features?

he says max of 28 inch. Doesn't seem bothered about any extras, although he says he wants some sort of integrated home cinema system (bit vague I know).
