The one thing I still crave now is something Spar used to sell about 10 years ago, they were garlic flavoured crisps, with a garlic dip in the pack. They were around £1 a packet, & so nice...

I also miss Cremola Foam, Mountain Dew & Chocolate & Vanilla supermousses.

boxes of chocolates that were called Weekend.

There was a salt and vinegar shake that you used to put on your chips. It was brilliant.

Brown sauce flavoured crisps

not edible but Radion washing powder. I liked the smell of that.
Gosh this is a blast from the past! I remember Weekend box of chocolates and funnily enough, Radion washing powder because of the lovely smell. It disappeared off the shelves without me even noticing after all this time!

Mountain Dew
White Chocolate covered Flipz
Yoghurt flavoured boiled sweets (forgotten who made them but it was back in the 70's)
Strawberry Cresta
Baked Bean flavoured crisps (not sure if they were Golden Wonder or Walkers? but were only available a short time)
Kraft Mayonnaise (Morrisons used to stock it but no longer do. It had a tangy taste, quite similar to Salad Cream but milder).

There was also a sweet which was a brown long stick (twisted) with chocolate in the middle and came in a brown cellophane wrapper? I can't remember the name but my sister used to buy me one when I was about 8!

Bitsa Pizza

Pizza flavoured crisps. Over-flavoued but I loved the smell of a freshly opened packet.

Good call, I loved those. A little portion of chemically enhanced mediterranean flavour, in a bag.

Sainsbury's have discontinued the pea, yoghurt & mint dip again!

I'm hoping it's just for the winter and that it will return in Spring!

Was happy to see dark choc mars bars back for ltd period - they remind me of time on summercamp USA many years ago but they were called milky way over there

A dessert called Sweetheart made by Nestles I think - it was strawberry flavoured and you emptied the can into a bowl then added a can full of milk and mixed it up - it was lovely.

Tesco made cracking rectangle-shaped low fat pizzas a couple of years ago, disappointed they stopped making them.

McDonald's' Egg & Bacon McMuffins with the flat, circular slice of canadian ham.

These days you get proper pieces of bacon and it is just not the same.

My OH says "Mexican Oxo cubes", can't get them for love nor money apparently.
The Indian ones are sorely missed.

Great for making a quick potato or mushroom Bahji
or crumbled over plain home-made popcorn to make spicy popcorn.

Tudor's Gammon and pineapple crisps. I only ever had them in Newcastle in the early 90s.

Marshmallow in a jar called Fluff. You can't find it anywhere except online, and even then it's about 4 quid a jar.
