I go to Holland and Barrett for my soya stuff, and they used to sell those soya dark chocolate buttons in the pack..I use them for decorating fairy cakes for the tops on the icing..they were yummy on the cakes..I looked for them and asked if they still sell them and the answer was they had been discontinued
..They only had them a couple of months or so , but you can buy them online

Finally someone's mentioned Strollers here; I miss them, and wish they'd be brought back.

Lyon's Corner Chocolate Cupcakes. Fabulous Bakin' Boys cupcakes are a very pale imitation. Lyon's Cupcakes did seem to make a brief comeback recently, but gone again

I wish they'd bring back Superwhip, which was a bit like frozen cream, but really tasty.

Anyone remember Pizza Bits? Pre-Doritos. I remember being sat with my nan at the Brent Cross fountain, having bought them from M&S, munching away on those in the 90s.

I remember Strollers as well - the advert had the excellent tune Wonderful Life by Black on it IIRC
![]() Yes Blacks fantastic 'Wonderful Life' was the music used on the adverts where everyone was sped-up. But the man eating the Strollers was moving slowly. The guy was played by the amazing mime-artist, Les Bubb. Check out YouTube for some great clips. Well worth a look.. What a talent!! ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWGh5J7CXOQ |

Seabrook Pickled Onion - you still see them advertised on the bags of their other flavours but they do not have them on their website, never seen them in any shop for ages.

In about 2000, there was a sweet product made by Nestle under the name of Willy Wonka which was like this chewy square with a really sour juice in the middle.
It sounds vile but it was one of the best tasting sweets I've ever had. I used to have one after school most days (which explains my mental blood sugar at the time!) |
