Cross and Blackwell had a product that we called "galentine" (sp?) I dont think that was it's offical name. Does anyone remember this product?
It was some kind of canned meat, I'm not sure what kind, possibly pork and/or chicken? We used to fry it although I think it was already cooked.
Anyway it was bloomin lovely! Haven't seen it in years.

[quote=Realist71;18422354]I think you're referring to the Cadbury Old Jamaica, rum and raisin chocolate bar, if so, afaicr, they were forced to at least rename it following objections that it had nothing to do with Jamaica. Not sure what happened beyond that, possibly they decided to just withdraw it.

Yes i loved Old Jamaica rum and raisin It seemed to dissapear along with Grand Seville

Anyone interested in Chelsea Whoppers can get hold of them from here - http://www.glickmans.co.uk/shop/index.htm (usually; they're out of stock atm...). Search for Chelsea Whoppers. (can't provide direct link due to javascript use.)

I've tried this source in the past and although they aren't identical to the originals available in the 70's they are the closest that I know of.

I noticed someone on the thread also mentioned Space Dust. I also loved it and bought some "Fizz Wizz" from http://www.britishcandy.com/nostalgi..._candy1990.htm a couple of years back; it's the same thing with a different name.

Jaws (spicy tomato crisps - they stopped selling them about 20 years ago).

Also, the short lived spicy flavoured Wotsits.

I think they do but the last time I had them, they'd changed the taste and they weren't half as nice

I think I may have made up the name but whenever we went on holiday when we were little, me and my brother practically lived on these gummy burgers- you could eat them each section on its own or be greedy and make a burger from them I'm sure they were called Trolley Burgers. They did hotdog ones too. Home and Bargain used to sell them a few years ago but I haven't seen them since. I miss them

Do they still do pizza flavoured Doritos?

See my earlier post for Space Dust!

I think the chewing gum with the liquid centre would have been "Freshen Up". There is another Gum recently released called "Trident" that also has a version ("Trident Splash") with a liquid centre but the flavour isn't as strong as "Freshen Up" - http://www.tridentgum.co.uk/no_flash.aspx

Trolli Burgers? I think Lidl might still sell them?

I really miss Cremola Foam, Cheese and tomato pot noodles and vice versa's. Also loved mountain dew and tab clear when they still existed.

Oh, and that beech nut chewing gum
