For those worried about incompatability / non conformance to standards then look no further :-

I saw this, but thought it was a bit ambiguous. It doesn't seem to state that BTVision has the tick, just that it wll be ok come swutchover. So I've just ahd a look here and can't see the Bt box (Looked under BT and Philips). So maybe it hasn't...yet!

I dont think BT are allowed to show the logo if it's not compliant. The page also says :-

"BT Vision™ is fully digital compliant and will convert the TV set you connect it to, to a digital signal - bringing you all the usual TV channels and lots, lots more!"

So they either do have a Digital Tick or they are in big trouble for fibbing

The word digital has many meanings. The page is unclear but the use of the logo near the top of the page could be construed that the box has the tick when as the website quoted above shows, it doesn't.

This Digital Tick business is really TICKING me off. So long as Vision works does it really matter?

Such a spoilsport Vale07. My middle right digit keeps making a gesture and must surely be a digital tick ? Is this what you meant to say to Cloudy ?

Almost, his comments are well meant, but not relevant to most of us. We just want a reliable system with good content that does what it claims to do. BT vision perhaps.?

Could be a dogital Tock for all I care. Or may be a little lion stamped on it.

I got stung by a Gnat sitting on my computer the other day. Was that a digital tick?

I guess we know Cumulonimbus' real name now, or at least another alias. I can't imagine anyone else to be that interested.
