Hi,

I am planning on buying a new Panasonic DVD player with home entertainment features and am trying to find out about its regions. On most of the descriptions of this product, the region is not stated - even on Panasonic's website although a couple of online retailers claim it's a "Multi-region" device.

I thought all DVD players sold in the UK would only play Region 2.

I've emailed Panasonic and asked in a store or 2 but nobody ís able to assist it seems.

All DVD players sold in the UK will play region 2, but aren't necessarily fixed to only play region 2. If it's been chipped or hacked to be multi-region, it will play all regions. If it doesn't explicitly say multi-region, it will be region 2.
