I have a sony dav dz100 which I now want to hook up to my Sony TV and recently acquired sky+.
Problem is that the dz100 only has 1 scart at the back.
Predominently I will watch TV/sky+ (using the dz100 sound set up) but when I decide to watch a DVD how do I do this as I dont want to have to keep manually changing over the scart leads.

Thanks

Scart socket on back of Sony is both input and output. Connect the scart from the Sony to the VCR scart on the Sky box. Connect the scart from the TV scart on the Sky box to the TV. When watching a DVD, pressing play on the Sony will send picture and sound through the Sky box (overwriting the Sky signal) to the TV. When watching Sky, the audio from the Sky box (admittedly only stereo, but better than nothing) will be sent to the scart on the Sony, giving Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound.

Look at replacing the Sony sometime in the not-too-distant future with separate DVD player/recorder and AV amplifier or receiver, so that multiple pieces of kit can all output DD/DTS signals to amp/receiver.
