A strangeish fact [well more a bit of gossip ] about one of the Contestants this year, rather than the show, for those who don't know, Kenny Logan dated another famous TV Presenter prior to Gabby......Kirsty Young. That was when she read the news on channel 5 and I remember a pic of them together, and she was much shorter than Gabby is.

Does anyone know Ian and Camilla's (I know I'm sad but I do find astrology interesting and they have such a great professional partnership)?

So...some people have said that the judges are marking higher now than in previous series. Let's have a look...

Average mark per dance

Series 1 27.231
Series 2 26.797
Series 3 27.989
Series 4 29.589

Interesting that the series with the 2 of the best dancers so far gets the lowest average though.....

In the whole of series two, only Jill and Denise got a score over 32. Julian collected his highest score in the final. It was 29!

Does anyone remember how the judges were sitting in series 1? Were they sitting in the usual order of C/A/L/B?

Becuase, rather oddly, in series 1 the 4th judge often gave the lowest score. And their avrage score was as low as the 1st judge. (6.3) If that was indeed Bruno, he must have been through a personality change since then.

The judges were in a different arrangement in the first series, can't remember what it was though!

If you check out some Lesley and Anton vids on youtube - you can see them in all their glory - (looking a bit younger though!).

But Anton had a Brendan-esque spat with them over inconsistent comments to Lesley which I'd completely forgotten. They told Lesley to calm down after her Samba, then told her off for being too restrained in her Jive..... sound familiar???

Wow! In that case Bruno gave 2 2's, 3 3's and 4 4's. I didn't think he bothered with paddles less than 5.

The first episode of the first series they sat Bruno, Arlene, Len, Craig then they changed to the normal.

Oooh! yeah you're right - just checked out the Series 1 Week 1 video and Craig & Bruno are sitting in each other's seats

Wonder why they changed - does Bruno need to sit next Len to be kept under control???
