Any reason why it must not include a CD player?

I was able to get one of these;
http://www.robertsradio.co.uk/pages/rc9907.html from John Lewis a couple of years ago. Might be worth trying them or a local independent electrical store. Snail |

just to say thanks for all your advice
I'm going for the argos one for 9:99 I would love to have tried getting a free cycle radio cassette recorder but a well used cassette recorder some times has problems with the wheels and cogs turning round considering the radio cassette recorder I will be using it when its not connected to the mains Could I ask about batteries? Does it make any difference if its C or D batteries powered Do C(or D) batteries last longer hold thier charge longer than the other one Thanks |

You get more bang for your buck with D's.

I bought the Argos one
Put the four D fully charged rechargly batteries in and a brand new 120 cassette in and started to record As the present time I recorded three seperate one hour radio programmes seems a very good buy at ten quid thanks again every one |
