Samsung DVD-VR350M... any good?

I'm thinking of buying this. Anyone know if it's any good? I'd like to record freeview onto VCR as well as DVD.

I'd like it to output 14:9 to the tele like the Humax does.

It looks particularly cheap at be-direct (whoever they are!).
