Looking for a new TV...
Hi all..
Not been on here in a while! Anyway... Looking for a new TV for my room. Looking for a minimum of 19" Flat panel. Must have HD, though doesn't need to have Digital, because i have cable and a freeview box if needs be. Only other requirement, is that i want one with a shiny screen. I don't know what its called, but normal TFT Monitor / Screens are dull, where as my Laptop is Shiny, and can be seen better at any angle to the traditional TFT... Not sure what its called though, and so don't know what i'm looking for online! Budget is around £250, though may stretch to 280 ish if something nice is available... Any suggestions? Oh yeah, Ideally needs to be wall mountable.. Thats the whole point of doing it really! (Well, aswell as the 360 :P) Cheers |

RGB Direct have the Toshiba 19W330DB for £259 which would tick most of your boxes. I'm not so sure about the shiny screen though, as far as I am aware that is Super-TFT, and is only found on laptops. Bear in mind that the viewing angle of an LCD TV is going to be much wider than that of your laptop anyway.
I've got a 37" Tosh LCD which is brilliant, and has a very wide viewing angle - doesn't matter where I am in the room I can see the picture clearly. |
