What phone to replace my SLVR (RED)?

Well it is just about time to get an upgrade on my Vodafone account to replace my Moto SLVR (RED). What phone should I get?

1. I am thinking about a SE W880I as it is really slim, and I want something I can keep in my shirt pocket without noticing.

2. Is it worth holding out for the new Nokia 6500 Classic? Also slim.

3. What will Vodafone offer me. I only pay £20 pm line rental, and don't realy want to spend a lot to upgrade. How flexible are they these days?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Take a good look at the keypad first...keys are incredibly small and awkward to use.

6500 looks nice, i'd guess it will be around the same price as a W880i, and yes, the keyboard on the W880i is horrible

I like the 6500, and I can see the point regarding the W880 keyboard. However, the 6500 doesn't do video calling (do I need it?) and the other thing is cost. I imagine that I might just persuade Vodafone to give me the W880 for nothing or a few pounds as it is currently nearly free to new subsrcibers on all tarrifs. However, how much is the Nokia going to cost?

What Vodafone will offer usually depends on a few things including your monthly spend and the length of the contract you're taking. As monthly line rental pays part of the cost of the handset, if your on a low tariff your choice of free handsets may not be huge, and you may be asked to pay something towards it.
