Reviews and opinions of Yamaha NSP110 (5.1 speaker package)
I am thinking about getting a speaker package to compliment my YAMAHA DSP AX640 SE AV AMP, the speakers are on richersounds and the have recently reduced them from 99.99 down to 79.99.
I was wondering what are peoples' opinions on them, they dont have much detail about them on the site, also they say they are 100watts but what exactly do they mean by that, are they 100watts all together or each speaker n sub outputs a maximum of 100watts? thanks in advance |

I have them and they sound fantastic, but I am no AV expert though.

They have them at various places for £68.99. (amazon just one) They are 100W max for each speaker! I bought the AV61 pack which has the RX-V361 amp and this set of speakers for £210 and it is really good.
Tried to look up your amp can't see any new? But found a picture that shows it as being black! This speaker set is silver/grey. |

I always found it strange why YAMAHA packed £100 speakers with expensive £300-400 amps. However after buying the NSP's and hooking them up they really sound great. Yamaha have a nack getting rich sound out of the NSP range. and you wont be disappointed with the sound. Subwoofer crossover needs to be around 100-160hz for real richness however.

You will be hard pressed to find another surround speaker package under £100 that sound as good as the Yamaha NSP110.

Can these speakers plug directly into the rear of the TV? or do I have to route via an amp.
I have a Panasonic 42PX70 set, so will this 'drive' the speakers i.e. act an an amp. |
