I went with the Samsung 50" after deciding that the LG wasn't worth that money

Sorry but i think the LG 50PC56 is a better TV than the Samsung 50Q96

The best thing to do is narrow your choice to 2-3 TVs then go & see them in action yourself.

no brainer

I think I remember reading that LG are ahead of the rest with LCD technology.But that was a few years ago.I'd still put them in my top five .
