Willie tends to be used as a commentator. Incidentally the Beeb is showing Pot Black at 1pm today-bet there is a reference to Willie doing SCD

Haha, they just mentioned it and wished him luck...Steve Davis said he was asked to do it but that that's as far as it would go for him.

Bang goes the potential male totty for future series.

What was that about a big willie from Hazel

I think it would be brilliant if Willie was a fantastic dancer and won this series! -what a departure from our usual type of winner!

I hope he is wearing spandex tonight.

I do envy him jigging with Erin though.
Lucky man indeed.

No. This has to be the worst pairing of the show. Erin should have been given a decent partner. This year she hasn't got a chance.

Luck of the draw, unfortunately. But all the pros know before signing up that there's every chance of being partnered with a no-hoper. Take Karen for example, reigning champion, but has been lumbered with probably the oldest celeb in the competition. I think someone posted an article in which it was suggested that Karen (or her agent) asked for her pay to be doubled. Perhaps, this is the BBC's means of retribution.

Despite this, I fully support the broad choice of celebs they have on each year. A combinaton of of celebs of differening ages and background makes for an entertaining series.

Above all else this is a reality/entertainment show, that uses the arena of ballroom dancing as a vehicle to secure ratings. And think the BBC have got all the elements that make up the show just right - from judges, celebs, pros and format. I'd hate to see any major changes.

Dennis Taylor did really well in MMV. Will Willie do the same in MMVII.

I just can't see it myself.

Poor Erin. She's got a bit of a carthorse this series.

I thought he did a good waltz...(although I do dread a latin)better than most tonight

You never know! He remined me of Darren Gough-big chap but light on his feet. As a snooker fan I hope he does well and I do think Erin is well liked so that will help.

Latin a bit of a worry though!

He's slightly older than Darren, still I agree with the gen consensus, its a woman to win

It would go against the grain if he was to win a tournamont.

Willie will not win. But I think he may do better than expected. His waltz was very elegant and smooth, but he may have trouble with the latin.

Should be fun to watch though!

I don't think he will win but I thought Willie's waltz was surprisingly elegent..... He and Erin have obviously put a lot into the training because he look quite "light" going across the floor. Erin seemed very encouraging in training and I think this helped his confidence. I hope he stays in this week.

Willie was amazimng last night, he did the best waltz of the night, it was basic but technically good.
Erin does the most amazing choreography to show off her celeb, she knew Willie would struggle, and she got the best out of him.

Erin and Willie rocked last night.
