Got to agree with Stella, with regard to the ballroom dresses, but the Latin went to Lilia, as always.

Overall, the lads did well & I'd be hard pressed to say who will go out on the public vote. Personally, I'd go for Matt Di'Angello, as I thought that Favia had to do too much dancing around him &, much as she is great to watch, you want to find yourself wathcing the couple & I found my attention too focussed on her.

I think she has her own dress makers and doesn't use the BBC wardrobe people.
I am sure Letitia Dean will be joining John Barnes on SCD weightwatchers after she sees the playback of herself looking like a barrel!

Letitia would have looked fine in a different dress. The one she wore was absolutely awful, and totally unsuited to her figure. Heaven knows what possessed anyone to put her in that monstrosity!

Sue - I agree her dress was awful and John's outfit was But I think your comment was a tad harsh just my opinion

Ok fair enough, I suppose the cameras do add 10 pounds and anyone 'normal ' size is going to look huge against the other girls with amazing figures on the show.

The dress she wore didn't suit her, I hope they find her a better dress next week.

Nightmare. I can see that the result has been posted in the spoiler thread. Don't want to see it, so I guess I have to avoid this forum completely tomorrow. May actually have to get off my bum and do something!

I think Letitia's dress was very similar to Mica's last year. And that didn't suit her either. It's easy to design for skinny people, the real skill is designing for normal women. Covering up in a big expanse of bright fabric is just not the way to do it.

Have to agree. Bruce is legend, but to front a live show you need to think on your feet. Would like to see someone like Johnny Vaughan takeover.

JV would give poor Kelly nightmares - they presented the Big Breakfast together - not Kelly's finest hour

General thoughts:
Favourite dance - Gethin and Camilla
Least favourite Kenny and Ola

Bruce was a bit hyper. Hopefully he'll calm down.
Tess - wearing a curtain tied up with a bin bag. And still can't do a few steps at the top of the show.

Judges - please cut out the nudge nudge wink wink comments. It was bad enough with Arlene, and now Craig's at it as well.

Dominic - don't introduce yourself with the words "I'm well-known for..." when actually no one knows who you are.

I thought Matt was really good. Considering he was first on and being the youngest there. I think as time progressing he will get better, its hard to show a "spark" on the first night with all the nerves and that. He will deffinately get better and i think he has great potential.

Of the men, I think Matt and Gethin will do well, John and Dominic can do well and the others will struggle.
Of the ladies, Gabby, Alesha and Kelly look like they can dance and Penny might improve enough. The others we shall have to wait and see - maybe a surprise there.
Overall it looks like a great competition this year and I think the average standard will be higher than any previous year.
Hopefully the judges can prevent dancers as good as Spoony or Ray going out early this year.
Pity they spoiled things by shifting the results show. That will take some of the edge off it. No result on Saturday and many people will know the result by Sunday.

She can't be that overweight, cos her arms and legs are pretty slender. As far as I can tell, she has a large bust and no waist, and she can't really do that much about that, unless she has cosmetic surgery.

Letitia is 'apple' as opposed to pear shaped. However, she could lose some weight as well i think.

Good on her anyway, not letting 'being larger' stop her from doing what she wants to do.

I agree with various posters. Her dresses could not be worse for her shape - yes, we know she has slim legs and arms, but coating her 'larger' body in bright colours and sequins, makes it stand out even more.

I think her dresses will change soon, as we won't have been the only ones to notice.

I agree that Letitia's dresses over the weekend were awful especially the pink one. I would think that she will be having a word with the wardrobe department after watching the show back and will be asking for more flattering designs. I think she will be OK in the ballroom dresses, but she is a little top heavy for the style of latin dress they put her in. You would have thought that the wardrobe department would have had enough training to know what suits what shape.
